Perun Consultants expands in South East Asia with new office in Singapore

We are pleased to formally announce Perun Consultants’ first expansion with the recent opening of our Singapore office in February 2020. All clients (existing and future) in the region now have direct access to all our services, with a particular focus on forensic accounting, corporate advisory services, and conflict directorships. We’re proud to have appointed Benjamin Thong and Gavyn Ng to lead the charge.

With more than 20 years of experience, Benjamin Thong joins our team as Managing Director and the head of Perun Consultants’ Singapore office.

Benjamin’s consulting expertise includes financial and forensic due diligence and divestment advisory, governance, compliance, risk management, forensic and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations and litigation support, and financial advisory. He has also undertaken a wide range of insolvency-related engagements.

Benjamin has previously worked across numerous industries, including pharmaceutical, telecommunication and technology, FMCG, construction, hospitality and leisure, oil and gas, and manufacturing. His practice spans across multiple jurisdictions, including China, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Australia.

Gavyn Ng joins Perun Consultants as a director leading our M&A advisory services practice. With more than 13 years of experience, Malaysian-born Gavyn has worked extensively across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and China. In addition to M&A financial advisory services, his expertise also includes financial due diligence, business and intangibles valuation, PPA exercise, pricing and negotiation support, SPA review, financial model review, and sell-buy side advisory work.
