We are currently seeking an ambitious and qualified candidate with the following attributes to join our Hong Kong office as a member of our senior team.
Responsibilities:
Lead in the day-to-day issues on restructuring and insolvency engagements.
For insolvency matters, oversee and ensure full compliance with statutory matters.
Review and issue reports, correspondence, presentations and other deliverables to clients and other stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of best practices.
Take part in building, developing and sustaining strong relationships with various stakeholders including clients, creditors and other advisors.
Coach, train and build capabilities of team members.
Lead in business development and marketing activities.
Reconstruct and review of complex accounting records from incomplete information.
Initiate and lead client meetings and strategy discussions with Senior Management, including making recommendations.
Experience in reviewing and overseeing investigative work for the benefit of recovering assets, including financial modelling where necessary.
Experience in working on and managing a variety of projects and engagements
Liaise with stakeholders, creditors and other advisors.
Traveling may be required.
The successful candidate will possess technical knowledge of financial accounting practices and be able to demonstrate experience (commensurate with the applicable employment grade) with the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Law or other Business-related discipline preferred.
CA, CPA or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years relevant experience including insolvency, restructuring and forensic accounting.
Proven track record of business development. Enhanced packages will be considered for those able to win business.
Proven track record of leading all aspects of engagements and working with C-Suite, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
Strong business acumen, autonomous, entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong team player who can contribute to the success of the business as a whole.
Extensive experience in leading and managing multiple engagements and teams.
Strong analytic skills.
Experience in cross-border matters would be advantageous.
Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Able to write concise and clearly structured reports.
Good understanding of business needs, drivers and foundations.
Strong interpersonal skills while interacting with others.
