We are currently seeking an ambitious and qualified candidate with the following attributes to join our Malaysia office as a Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities below will cover all our offices:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance operations, which includes month end close activities, preparing management reports and conducting financial analysis.

  • Produce financial reports related to annual budget and financial forecasts, account payable, account receivables, expenses etc.

  • Prepare monthly group consolidation reports for management reporting.

  • Arrange and lead monthly and quarterly meetings with relevant internal stakeholders.

  • Collect, interpret and review financial information.

  • Report to management and provide advice and recommendations on costs, financial performance and revenue generation including how the company and future business decisions might be impacted.

  • Analyse trends and make recommendations for revenue generation and cost reduction.

  • Oversee cash flow and ensure the firm has enough liquidity for day-to-day operations.

  • Monitor financial risks and manage banking relationships.

  • Oversee and manage the audit process for all our entities and deal with any queries and information requests.

  • Work closely with various stakeholder including liaising with auditors across all our offices.

  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and other regulatory requirements.

  • Assist senior management in strategic planning by providing financial insights and modelling different business scenarios.

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls over financial transactions and reporting.

  • Manage and contribute on ad hoc financial projects as required by the business.

  • Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance with all tax regulations.

  • Assist with tax planning strategies to optimise tax liabilities.

 Requirements

  • Batchelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Law or other Business-related discipline preferred.

  • CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.

  • Analytic mind.

  • Willing and able to work to tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.

  • Proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis.

  • Self-motivated, proactive and mature.

  • Able to develop strong relationships and work with different teams across offices.

  • Commercial and business awareness.

  • Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
